If an individual loses hair from a part of the head or body, it is known as hair fall or alopecia. Hair loss or hair fall can be mild to severe, although every individual feels the experience of hair loss regularly, the average hair loss can be 50-100 hair strand/day, and excess hair fall can lead to baldness. In males, excess hair loss causes bald spots formation on the head, and in women, it starts with significant thinning of hair, especially on their topmost area of the head, or sometimes balding occurs in patches.
